Resource Sovereignties: place-ing resource conflicts around the globe

This photo exhibition highlights resource conflicts around the globe, particularly around the extraction of non-renewable resources such as oil and natural gas. The collection consisted of two exhibits: 1) Marching for Change: Resource Conflicts in the Amazon - Documentary Photography by Anna Laing 2) Where Pathos Rules: The Resource Curse in Visual Culture and Flammable Societies - Photo Essays edited by Owen Logan The exhibition was collated and managed by Anna Laing, and consisted of an opening event and discussion by the two contributors.
