Preserving the queer in Brighton “archive”
This paper gives a brief overview of digital preservation problems in relation to community archives. It considers the importance of metadata to safe-guarding the future use, and re-use of oral history interviews and describes methods used to archive the Queer in Brighton oral history collection. Methods include co-creation of metadata with community members, and digitisation and cataloging with students.
