BirdBath
Birdbath is a collaboration between musician and researcher Alice Eldridge and meditation teacher Alistair Appleton. It is a simple idea: beautiful buildings are open to the public and filled with field recordings of birdsong. Visitors are invited to sit peacefully and bathe in the sound of birds, staying for as long or as little as they like. Birdbath premiered at the 2018 Newhaven Festival in St Michael's Church and was presented again in 2019. A winter edition was made for the Viriditas Festival celebrating the life and ideas of Hildegard Von Bingen Attenborough Centre A recorded version is available here: https://birdbaths.bandcamp.com/releases
