Abstract
Electronic techniques can now be applied to the solution of almost any problem of temperature measurement and control from industrial machinery to laboratory research.
While engineers may frequently encounter an electronic system of temperature control in their particular discipline and have a working knowledge of its functioning, many will welcome the information provided in this article on the principles by which such equipment operates and of the basic terminology used.
