Abstract
The article analyzes Craig Higginson's novel, "Last Summer," which includes an epigraph of Prospero's epilogue for "The Tempest". The novel is about trials, tribulations and triumphs of dramatic performance, and the expression of identity. It cites notable subtleties such as how the author envisions elements to create a central relationship, the presentation of the fragility of human relationships, and intertextual and theoretical speculations.
