Additional Information: | Originality: Describes a system for bridging low-level and high-level electronic product development; enabling product designers to develop graphical representations of the low-level hardware simulations. Novel area combining high-level and low-level development, previously areas have no linkage. Rigour: The one of the outputs of a major European project VIPERS with Sussex and major European electronics designers. Significance: Virtual electronics modelling is a recognised area of importance, but with limited players at present. This system is the first to offer a fully flexible design environment for both graphics-oriented designers and hardware engineers. Outlet/citations: DATE is the only European event for electronics system design and test - highly respected. Supported by European Design and Automation Association, the EDA Consortium, the IEEE Computer Society. (TTTC), (CEDA), ECSI, RAS and ACM SIGDA. |
