This paper provides a synopsis of the papers, feedback, and discussion from a World Bank conference on the Uruguay Round and the Developing Economies, held January 26-27, 1995. The authors suggest strategies for implementing the agreement, propose how it can be extended, and provide part of the analytical base for future multilateral negotiations aimed at accelerating the integration of developing countries into the world economy.
