Notes

I did all of the fieldwork and most of the writing of this paper. It documents an innovative technique that provides the first effective method for surveying bats in woodland interiors. Last year we applied the same technique to conduct a systematic survey for the Bechstein's bat in Sussex. This is the only regional survey there has been for this rare and elusive species.
