Indeterministic causation and varieties of chance-raising
chapter
posted on 2023-06-08, 07:48 authored by Murali RamachandranThis paper attempts to resolve certain problems for David Lewis's counterfactual account of indeterministic causation. It does so within the apparatus Lewis provides: the aim is to show how far one can go with Lewis's project rather than to provide a definitive, counterexample-free account.

Notes
This paper differs from "A counterfactual analysis of inderministic causation" by working completely within Lewis's own framework. (So, the account differs considerably from that proposed in my "A Counterfactual account of Indeterminisitic Causation".)Full text available
