Abstract

The successful synthesis of terminal lead aryloxides is shown to be dependent upon reaction conditions, including choice of solvent and alkali metal aryloxide precursor.

Item Type: Article
Additional Information: This communication reports a general and reliable route to rare monomeric terminal lead aryloxide complexes which avoids the problem of forming insoluble lead bi-products. JRF planned and supervised the work in her own laboratory and is corresponding author..
