Notes
Originality: Describes an approach for determining uncertainty in archaeological finds and presenting them with 3D visualisations. Rigour: A large number of archaeological experts used to evaluate the possibility engine. Graphical representations rely on this new calibration technique. Significance: This is the first time a quantifiable level of uncertainty has been captured. Combined with the new visualisation techniques provide a new collaboration between computer science and archaeology. Imact: this is a new area formalising results. Outlet/citations: The 7th VAST International Symposium on Virtual Reality, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage: a respected conference in the area.Full text available
