Discusses the reform of insolvency law in France resulting in Law 2005-845 of 26 July 2005 on the Preservation of Enterprises. Considers the provisions of the Law on definitions, jurisdiction, pre insolvency measures including conciliation and the trigger for action by the courts of the failure to file accounting documents, the procedure for preservation, judicial rescue, liquidation and sanctions.
