Notes

Originality: The first ever attempt to design electronic circuits having built-in self-test using evolutionary methods. Rigour: Proof of concept by analysing relevant phenomena in one-bit adder and two-bit multiplier examples. Significance: Previously unappreciated implications of evolutionary design extend throughout the electronics self-testing field. Impact: GoogleScholar=10; Best paper prize, as ranked by reviewers' ratings out of 58 submissions.
