For the sake of informality

Learning is at the forefront of a wide range of policy agendas, but this learning tends to be narrowly focussed on participation in formal education programmes. This article argues that informal learning outside of the formal education system , supplies the bulk of the learning that matters to us in our daily lives. We need to go beyond the narrow boundaries of formal provision to acknowledge & support learning in all its forms.
