Separatism and exclusion: women in psychiatry, 1900-1950

Also seeks to understand the obstacles that prevented more women from practising in psychiatry and challenges the idea that women psychiatrists were simply operating at the margins of the profession andd therefore their contribution can safely be overlooked.
