Chicago Review 53:1 (New British Poetry) is a major reconsideration of the field of contemporary poetry in Britain today. Four authors make up the focus of its discussion: Andrea Brady, Chris Goode, Peter Manson and Keston Sutherland. The special issue includes a new, long work by Keston Sutherland, 'Hot White Andy', together with the poem 'Roger Ailes' (previously published in _Neocosis_ (Barque: London 2005). Alongside this body of new work are printed two scholarly articles on Keston Sutherland's poetry by Simon Jarvis (Cambridge) and Matt Ffytche (Queen Mary, London). Keston Sutherland's poetry is also discussed in the introduction to the volume and in an article by John Wilkinson. Wilkinson's article attempts to locate the emergence and significance of his poetry in the context of the history of British writing over the last 40 years.
