Every Secret Thing: An Interview with Gillian Slovo
Selves in Question considers the various ways in which auto/biographical accounts situate and question the self in contemporary southern Africa. My interview with Gillian Slovo centres on her memoir of growing up the daughter of two of South Africa's most prominent (white) anti-apartheid activists, her mother's death by letter bomb and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
