But what do we know about how to ensure that contact arrangements support a child’s well-being? What needs to be taken into account when decisions are made? What factors are associated with positive outcomes? And what needs to be avoided? This summary highlights the main findings of a review of the existing UK and international evidence, carried out by the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) and the University of Sussex.
