We not only aim to investigate the similarities but importantly, also the differences between the synthesis of a biological organism and an engineering system. A bespoke algorithm will be developed using an Evolutionary Algorithm to generate fractal patterns observed in nature. The success of this method will allow us to investigate its possible usage in designing an engineering system.
