Abstract
This article situates reproductive health care in the context of women's perceptions and experiences of illness in general as well as in terms of the material, ideological and political dynamics of household, kin and gender relations. The findings of a study among the Nagori in Rajasthan yield useful information which would help in the construction of an appropriate health care package for women.
