Abstract

Lecture illustrating how polymer matrix reinforced plastics and used in the aircraft and automotive industries. The lecture concentrates on fabrication and assembly technologies. It also introduces computer aided design and manufacturing technologies illustrating how robotics and software tools have developed in the aircraft industry.
