Gryratrons offer a very effective means of defence against advanced weaponry that rely on embedded electronics and multiple communication systems. Electronics, sensors and communication systems can be damaged from a distance of 40 kM. The ability to deliver directed beams is straightforward; Russia already has this technology to target Drones.
