Abstract

Published to coincide with Archive of Modern Conflict’s contribution to the exhibition Conflict, Time, Photography at Tate Modern, London as "AMC² No. 11."; It presents the landscapes of war as viewed by those co-opted, blighted, disrupted, demented, excited, uplifted, corrupted, dumbfounded and unbalanced by its process and explores the psyche of conflict – from the primal tribalism of paint and feathers through the ideal of the chivalrous warrior to the scientific clinically of triggers and switches.
