Abstract

World Sustainable Development Outlook series is developed to provide an overview of sustainable development and why it is important and to provoke forward thinking on the development of a more coherent approach to solving global problems related to sustainability.

Outlook 2014 includes selection of the best papers presented during the 12th International Conference of WASD held in the period 13th - 15th August 2014 in Montreal, Canada. Contributors in this volume share their research and work experiences from all over the world addressing topics of great importance such as public health, education, transportation and many more; the emphasis has been on the importance of evidence based planning to achieve a sustainable future for all.
