Abstract

Michael Ondaatje's early novel 'In the Skin of a Lion' illustrates the imaginative, epistemological and ideological affinities between migrant literatures and the emergent science of complexity and chaotics. My paper examines the way in which these scientific theories offer new models of reading migrant narratives and diasporic fiction.
