Additional Information: Gough was invited to take part in this OEDIPUS-C US/Canadian space mission. These scientific results were based primarily on the particle correlator technique pioneered by Gough with a Sussex instrument on this rocket payload. J.Geophysical Res. is the international journal in this space physics field. Gough was the only non US/ non Canadian author/ mission participant and the particle correlator provided unique measurements on auroral electron acceleration caused by the active RF transmitter between the tethered rocket modules. Mission principal investigator is Dr.Gordon James located at the Communications Research Centre, a government research laboratory of Canada ( gordon.james@crc.ca).
