Notes

The April 2007 report on implementing radioactive waste management policy provides a detailed set of policy recommendations. Prof MacKerron chaired the Committee for four years and sole-authored the substantive opening, survey chapter of the report. The report became a main basis for the Government¿s June 2007 consultation on the next stage of the Managing Radioactive Waste Safely programme.
