composition
posted on 2023-06-08, 06:49 authored by Martin Butler
A show piece for solo horn lasting about four minutes,, Hunding is named after the brutish and bitter woodsman in Wagner's Valkyrie, memorable for the blood-curdling nature of his horn calls.(This subject matter and the occasion for which the work was written are, genuinely, unconnected.)
