Abstract

Examines s.122 of the Bankruptcy Act 1914 as the basis for cooperation provisions in Commonwealth insolvency legislation. Discusses the statutory provisions on cooperation in: (1) Australia; (2) Malaysia; (3) Singapore; (4) New Zealand; and (5) the United Kingdom. Considers international developments on cooperation including the Model Law on Cross Border Insolvency 1997.
