Additional Information: Further results are given on the value of using time-frequency wavelet techniques as an analysis tool for the identification of heart murmurs. The work follows on from a joint SME/university partnership which investigated communications links between the heart sound unit and an adjoining laptop. We received a Prime Faraday Partnership Spark award entitled HSLink (Application no.18142) for this work in liaison with Dr Keith Barfoot, Managing Director, Staplethorne Ltd., 2 Devonshire Court, Heathpark, Honiton, Devon EX14 1SB (xrays@stapletek.co.uk). Development of the preferred Bluetooth interface continues.
