Notes

This deeply analytical paper on `inscription¿ and its technologies argues against simple reliance on `tacit knowledge¿ or `routines¿ propositions to theorise about the reproducibility of knowledge and understanding. It draws on such diverse sources as the social anthropology of Goody for its complex theoretical basis. Prof Steinmueller was responsible for setting the theoretical framework to connect to information and communication technologies.
